Very nice place and the food was excellent. The taco salad is the best that I have ever eaten and the fajitas were delicious. The tacos were also great. Not a big Mexican food fan but I will be back. Excellent experience.

So this place just opened and I have been to the location in Orlando but this one is much closer. Thanks inside looks very nice, the bar especially. My server wasn't really the best but still made the best of it. Me and my girlfriend decided to get the new queso fundido and man it was terrible!!!! I have had this in other authentic Mexican restaurants maybe 5 times and this was nothing like it. It was a huge pot of green sauce with one globb of cheese..... Like I wanted cheese not a big pot of green wizard juice with 5% cheese. Also to top it off it comes with pork skin that hard enough to break your wisdom teeth. I had to eat it with the salsa chips. The best thing was the fajita quesadillas those were done perfectly. The house margarita is great too. My biggest complaint is that the food is kind of pricey but the service doesn't match. This was my experience at this location... Will I go back? Only time will tell.

Food was delicious! The service was spot on! I was especially pleased because they had several vegetarian dishes to offer. Will definitely go back to enjoy.

Great atmosphere, really clean and great food.

This, my friends, was an awesome Mexican restaurant. We have held off going due to how busy they look. We finally went on a Friday at 5:30 pm. Found a parking place. There’s a lot more space inside than it looks like. We sat at the bar at the high top tables. From the hostess to the waitress to the bartenders, everyone was super friendly and relaxed. It was a fantastic night and the food was perfect. Great portion sizes. Strawberry Margarita was spot on. Definitely worth a try! Elena and Luis were great. We will definitely be back!!

This new location is definitely a huge step up. Super clean, great food, great drinks and nicely priced. The place is beautifully decorated and it has a lot of cool art to look at as u wait. I cant imagine if they get live music in this place. Service was great but the waitress was a bit much with the drinks and kept checking my beer, it was a bit annoying but I understand.

For the price you're better off going to a small family owned restaurant. I got an order of 3 tacos, and while the food was great, the price was too high for a single plate, IMO. Almost 20 dollars for chicken tacos is too pricey

We ordered take out as that's the only choice these days. The food was ready as promised, but to get guacamole instead of sour cream was an uncharge of about $5 - something that was not mentioned at the time and is not listed on the menu. When I got home about 5 minutes later, the food was lukewarm at best. Couldn't really zap it as there was lettuce on top.We have dined in their restaurant before and found the food to be very good. We won't be doing take out here ever again!

Always a great time when we get to go here! The Margaritas are huge, the food is amazing and big portions and if you are lucky enough to go when the Mariachi band is there, those guys are awesome!!! The owners are always around as well. Super great place!

Food looked just like the menu photo and so dang delicious! Service was great and the Mariachis played the Desperado for us. Awesome!

What a beautiful restaurant. The transformation from the old place to the new place is remarkable. The food exceptional. Nancy our server was great. Very impressed

Food was really tasty, but the drinks were just okay. The coronarita wasn’t very strong and the mango cilantro margarita wasn’t very strong. There was significantly more meat on the carnitas tacos and seemingly barely any on the al pastor tacos. Our waitress did give us some good advice on where to have a good night out in the area though!

This resturant is fantastic. The wait staff were great, the food was some of the best flavored Mexican food we have had in years. I would recommend it to any one. They also had a good deal on margaritas.

AMAZING food, price, friendly staff and especially fast service! The amount of food they give you for each plate is more then enough, trust me. My wife and I share a plate every single time and it's more then enough for both of us. I would definitely recommend to family and friends and this location especially has earned a loyal customer!!!!

We have been going to Aztecs for years! The service is awesome and the Food is soooooo good. I recently tried the guacamole made right at my table. Can obviously say that I have never had that experience before and will do it again!

We decided to try the new location yesterday for dinner. We arrived earlier than the dinner crowd, and was seated right away. The interior of the new place, was tastefully done. It is much bigger than the old location, and will definitely bring in more business- Legoland is just across the street. There was no kids menu, so I had to ask if there was any. Our waitress, cited what they had for a kids menu. I ordered a creamy chicken enchilada plate, and I had the option if getting vegetables instead of rice/beans. This is great for low carb friendly options. My fiance, had tacos, and as long as he gets corn tortillas, and tacos served the Mexican way, he is happy. Everything tasted good, our waitress was attentive, and friendly. We will definitely go again.

I have eaten at the new Azteca D'Oro for both dinner and lunch. Great service and very good food. Be prepared, both dinner and lunch are very busy, but worth the wait if necessary. The restaurant has nice decor and lighting. A welcome addition to restaurant choices on Winter Haven.

Service was "okay"... food was great! For the prices I would have expected better service from the wait staff. When we got our to-go boxes they were placed on top of a giant pile of plates that needed to be bussed. Maybe I'm spoiled, but I've been to plenty of other places where they've boxed up my leftovers for me or at least asked if I wanted them to. That takes a whole star off for me. Also, this was for my husband's birthday and the waitress just had an unpleasant attitude the entire time.

First time at Azteca since it opened, nice authentic Mexican atmosphere. A little loud inside but outside seating is available. Food came out fast and was good. Drinks were also well made and timely.

Fantastic place! Meals were slightly higher in price than other local Mexican restaurants we've gone to. However, the quality and tenderness of their meat / chicken / shrimp (as we tried their Fajita Sampler among other dishes) seems much higher.

Hooray, we finally found good Mexican food in Winter Haven, Florida! Nice atmosphere, great service at lunchtime on a Monday. Large party of 7 everything was accurate and delicious. 3 of us got different fajitas: I got the steak fajitas which came with rice, beans,grilled onions and peppers,lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole and sour cream and the shrimp fajitas looked great, but the pork look so tender, that I'm going to try that next time! The taco salad was huge too. You won't leave hungry!

I love this place they have the best Mexican food the portions are large the service is excellent I go at least twice a week I sit in the bar area Jose or Eddie are the bartenders and they are the best always friendly always attentive always courteous I highly recommend going here and if for some reason you're not happy and I don't foresee that speak with the GM Isola he will solve the problem and make sure you leave happy if I could give Azteca 10 Stars I would!!

The portion s were generous to say the least and the server was delightful! And the food was delicious! Beautiful restaurant!

Very nice place. Everything seemed very clean and food was very delicious.

Very fast service. Great flavours. We do not have much in the way of Tex mex where I’m from but this place is great. Even an 8 year old was super happy with the service and meal. Managers were very attentive and even brought some extra salsa for a hungry family that made short work of the first bowl.

I use to go to their old location all the time, but after first experience at the new location, it is one and done for me and my family. The prices are very high, high like theme park prices.The places is packed full for sure and people seem to love it, but when the live roving band was playing music I almost had to yell across the table just to talk to my wife. The staff was very friendly and was always checking on us. The food did have a good flavor and was hot when it arrived at our table.Again for us the major things that will keep us from going back is the excessive loud music and the prices.

New location has more space and same quality food. The food is good but pricey. Nice place for special occasions

Great Mexican/south west style place close to LEGO land. Big plates and big drinks!

Great bar and atmosphere. Wait was not too long for a group of 5 on a busy night. Freshly made guacamole was absolutely delicious. Main courses were good as well. Margaritas were tasty and TVs were playing NCAA basketball. Good time.

Amazing Mexican food. The building is new, but it is the same food as their previous location. The atmosphere is great for celebrations or date nights. They have the best guacamole and amazing dishes.

The new location is more modern and cozy at the same time. They still offer authentic food in large portions that are delicious. If you like hot sauce ask for their house made sauce with habaneros.

Awesome food and nice place. Not too long of a wait. Very nice and attentive service. Will definitely go back.

This is a great restaurant! Come hungry because they give you lots of food! My husband and I usually split an entree. They make their own chips and salsa and they are wonderful!

You want to try authentic Mexican food. This is the place. Very clean & modern style. Great food & excellent service. We got Dan as waiter. He was wonderful.

Well....the food, the service, the restaurant was excellent...all came hot, well done. My server Eddie, he did a great great job...was very attentive, he offer us different options on the menu...Eddie Rocks....I will come back soon. Highly recommended...the food was deliciosa

This place is very nice inside, the decor is so different yet tasteful. They serve a good Portion of food and everything taste great especially the guacamole!

Food is really good! We had an awesome experience thanks to our server Carlos! Everything was on point; service, food and timing! I Highly recommend this place for a family evening, date or business meeting.

The dinner portions are absolutely huge and could easily feed tell people. And the the entrees are tasty ( in had the pork carnitas burrito) I locked the real authentic Mexican flavor and leaned toward a more commercial taste. However it was still good, freshly made ingredients. The compliment chip and salsa was okay. I thought there salsa lacked flavor. Service was very friendly, professional and courteous.
